Double click on the "Outlook Express" icon on your desktop. If no account exist the "Internet Accounts Wizard" will start. If an account does exist Outlook Express will open.

To create or edit an account click on "Tools" and then click on "Accounts". This will open the "Internet Accounts" window has shown below.

To add an email account click on the "Add" button and then on "Mail". This will start the "Internet Connection Wizard". The wizard will walk you through setting up the new account.

Your Name screen
Enter your display name click "Next" to move to the next step.

Internet E-mail Address screen
Make sure that the "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use" is checked, and enter your email address in the "E-mail address" field. Click "Next".

E-mail Server Names screen
Select "POP3" as your incoming mail server. In the "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server' field enter "mail.", where is your actual domain name without the "www." (i.e.- itempo.com). In the "outgoing mail (SMTP) server" field either enter "mail.", or enter your dialup/DSL/Cable provider's outgoing server (some providers will require that you use their outgoing server). Click "Next".

Enter you user name and password. If you do not want to type your password each time you check your mail, put a check in the box that says "Remember password" Click "Next".

Congratulations screen
Click "Finish" and you're done.

You may need to close the accounts window at this point. You can test your mail by sending yourself a message the next time you check your mail the test message should come back to you. You can edit your settings at anytime by clicking on "tools" and then "Accounts" select the mail account and click on "Properties" you will see the "Mail Properties" window shown below. By clicking on the appropriate tab you can modify all the information described above.

You can also customize you email setting by opening Outlook Express and clicking on "tools" and then on "options". This will bring up the "Options window shown below. Make sure you understand the change before changing the default selections.
